I spent about three hours last evening cleaning up the workshop. I’ve gotten better at cleaning up ‘as I go’ over the years, but clearly there is room for improvement.

I’ve been purchasing and bringing home supplies for projects for a while, so I know the ‘kit’ (as my Aussie mate Bruce would say) for sheet goods:

  • 2001 Subaru Outback
  • Moving pad to avoid slips and marks on the bottom-most sheet
  • Tie-down straps
  • Patience to drive sensibly and not on the highway

I went early this morning and got the materials for the third tier of carcasses (boxes).

I could carry the 1/2" sheets easily. But the 3/4" sheets are heavy enough I used a ‘panel carrier’. It allows me to carry them with my left arm at my side supporting all the weight and my right arm to steady things.

Carrying them in and supporting them was a good way to start the day.
